One of the country’s leading independent opticians, Black & Lizars, has helped Braehead Clan ice hockey club kick off its season.
The Scottish-based provider sponsored Braehead Clan’s first home match of the season against Lowen Frankfurt and are the main sponsors of Gary Russell.
At the first match of the season, Black & Lizars’ managing director Michelle Le Prevost got proceedings under-way, performing the ceremonial puck-drop, and commercial director, Nisith Nathwani presented the Man of the Match award after the game.
Michelle said: “Sport and clear vision go hand-in-hand, particularly in a game as fast-moving as ice hockey. The sport is growing in popularity, and we’re proud to support Braehead Clan as they push for silverware this season.”
The Braehead Clan sponsorship follows on from partnerships with other sporting organisations, including; Glasgow Warriors (rugby), Team Brewster (curling), and Douglas and Lachie McIntosh (tennis).
