BLACK & LIZARS COVID-19 UPDATE - 31 March 2020
In line with Government and NHS Scotland guidelines we can only see patients for emergency and essential care only during this crisis. Our practices in Gordon Street in Glasgow and Lothian Road in Edinburgh will be open for emergency and essential care only.
Please do not visit the practice without calling first - remember STAY HOME unless it is absolutely necessary to go out.
We will have an Independent Prescribing Optometrist operating in each practice. These are highly trained professionals, able to prescribe for a variety of eye conditions.
If you have an eye related emergency please call your usual practice number, you will be automatically redirected to an open practice. We will try and address your concerns with a combination of telephone and video consultation, the Optometrist will advise if they need you to visit the practice.
The highest level of hygiene is followed by all of our staff and we continue to follow updated guidance on a daily basis.
If you have a query of a more general nature, e.g. contact lens supply, we would ask that you email firstname.lastname@example.org giving your name, a contact number, the usual practice you attend and an outline of your query - a member of our team will then get back to you as soon as possible.
