Miniature binoculars are becoming increasingly popular as they are small and light and can easily be carried in a pocket or stored in the glove box of your car. Black & Lizars' own range of miniature binoculars starts with our 8x21 and 10x25 rubber armoured binoculars at £19.99.
Moving up our compact range, Leica and Swarovski compact binoculars provide the user with benefits including low weight, well designed ergonomic handling, superb optics with bright and accurate colour rendition and feature in most cases, water and fogproof construction. Prices are in the £400+ price range depending on model.
We also stock binoculars suitable for Astronomy. The main requirement for astronomical use is a relativly large objective lens as this gives maximum light gathering power. To this end we sell a range of 7 and 10 x 50's -the most popular size for astronomy. Full size binoculars from Leica and Swarovski start at around £900, but will be the only binocular you ever need buy, with guarantee periods of up to 30years and unbeatable optics and build quality. They are excellent value, providing a lifetime of use and are the optics of choice for many birders, ramblers and wildlife enthuisiasts. Few hobbies feature equipment that can be paid for in this one-off manner!
