Be prepared…. They're big, bold and brassy!

This summer's sunglasses are not for shrinking violets.  Oversized frames have been a mainstay of sunglass fashion for many years now and this season is no exception.

Oval and round shapes are still the most popular in the women's ranges, with lots of aviator styles for both men and women, some squarer shapes being introduced and more angular metals for men.

Black, brown and silver are always favourites but this year the designers have also given us lots of styles in bold white or bright colours such as green, orange and dark red, all in fabulous, chunky acetates.

For summer 2007 Black & Lizars has an exciting range of sunglasses from Gucci, YSL, Dior, Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, and Diesel, with a selection from Prada, Chanel, Nike, Adidas, Oakley, Serengeti, Bolle, Fendi, Ray-Ban and Miu Miu.

Be prepared…….they're gorgeous!

Specialist sunglasses for sports are available from Oakley, Maui Jim, Nike and Bolle. Oakleys obsession with innovation continues to defy convention - the finest materials are fused and sculpted by custom-built machines that redefine the standards of precision engineering. Now a global brand, Oakley has established itself as an icon with high-performance footwear, wristwatches, clothing and accessories now part of the brand.

Prescription Sunglasses

Most of the major sunglass brands can be made with prescription lenses, including Oakley. Black & Lizars own range of prescription sunglasses includes fine metal frames in a choice of colours and comes complete with lenses from £89.95, while our very popular new range of Calvin Klein prescription sunglasses start at £99.
