Contact Lenses

Black & Lizars is closely involved with several major contact lens companies in the research and development of new products. This allows us to use the latest lenses as soon as they become available and offer them with confidence to our patients.
Our contact lens clinic is predominantly involved with conducting clinical trials of new products. Patients are asked to use a new lens over a short period of time with regular examination by our optometrist. Patients are then asked to comment on the performance of the lens and may be asked to compare it to their existing contact lenses or solution. Trials are usually free of charge for participating patients.
